Framework

The categorised list of Proof Points: Claims or impact statements a business can make about themselves, another business or a product*. Feedback and contributions are welcome.

Provenance has developed a framework of Proof Points to aid companies communicate impact about their business, products and supply chains. There is increasing awareness today in the importance of social impact and sustainability in brand communications. However, this has sadly come with an increase in ‘greenwashing’. Terms such as ‘sustainable’ and ‘ethical’ are used loosely and interchangeably in marketing and there is little way for citizens to compare companies against each other or simply understand whether a company is doing the right thing. To solve this Provenance proposes this framework of Proof Points, which businesses can combine with disclosure on their supply chain network and traceability to convey impact with integrity.
